Colored contacts....?

Okay so .. long story short.. I've been wanting colored contacts..so my mom set up an appointment for an eye exam... i have 100% vision and dont need a prescription... i was supposed to do a contact fitting, but that costs 80 dollars to do.. and the lady that did my eyes said that she couldnt blow into my eyes without me closing them or jumping away (theres a machine that goes right in front of your eye and blows a hard stream of air) .. she said if i can't do that, then there's no way of me putting on contacts.. so then my parents were like.. okay we'll go home and think about it, and come back another day. So that lady told me to practice touching my eye and getting used to being close to my eye. So i can touch the white part a little... but i'm wondering, does it hurt to touch the actual color part? because it seems like it would. and the contact goes there, so does that mean it will hurt? D: ... the lady said "when you come back, i have to put the contacts on your eye myself, and then you have to put it on twice yourself, and take it off twice because we can let you leave with contacts." Okay so... i can understand ME putting them on... but SOMEBODY ELSE? Isn't that going to be harder for me?? I can't stand someone being so close to my eye, and the anticipation of her placing the contact will KILL me. Help? Advice? What i can do to relax? Ways to practice getting used to someone so near my eye??
