Hysterectomy questions?

my doc said that i need to have a hysterectomy. i am only 24 yrs old. i have some questions. first they will not be removing my ovaries. will i really go through menopause? and how much recovery time is it. ive had 2 c-sections and was wondering how the recoverys are different. and also if most people gain or lose weight aferwards. thx for any help.
