Does using Maracyn tablets make tank water cloudy???

Hi! I noticed a fish with fin rot a few days ago, and never having had any probs like this before, I did what I thought was right and bought an 8 pack of Maracyn tablets. I have put 3 tablets in each day for the last 2 days (as per the instructions on the back) in my 33 gallon tank. I woke up this morning (the 3rd day) and my tank is very cloudy. I keep my tank at 77 degrees, my ph is 8.0, and I have 2 adult mollies, 4 teenaged platies, I adult mickey mouse platy and an algae eater. I run 2 filters; an Aquaclear 50 and a Tetra Whisper 20-40 gallon. I am stumped...I have never had this sort of prob. The only changes in the last 3 days is the Maracyn and the addition of one adult molly. Any suggestions????
