Soccer players wear HELMETS ?? plz help?

You must live in America. Only Americans would think about wearing helmets to play football, or soccer as you call it. People have been playing ociation football for over a century and have never needed helmets. How on earth can you head a ball with a helmet on? If you needed helmets FIFA would make it mandatory. Believe me your American gridiron football is a much more dangerous game, those players use their pads and helmets as weapons. Our ociation football is fine the way it is. Helmets are an absolutely ridiculous idea.
