When do you ovulate, are you different to the stats?

i think mine is off! my hubby and i just started trying and i bought an ovulation kit. i read online about the whole 14 day thing and i ended my period yesterday and took an ovulation test today and there is a faint pink line which i guess means i'm going to ovulate soon! so it's prob different for everyone!
