Why do people bag on the south so much?

I know really. I Love the South! I had a great time in Tennessee.I have been to Georgia as well & it was nice.They have good music,food & culture. I think the boring weird states are the ones like Utah & Iowa,Wisconsin,Nebraska, I would hate to live in one of those states.
