Why is it that in church I was taught at said that it's better to live your whole life as a christian but?

People do not like the idea of going to hell; they also do not like the idea of loving God with your whole heart soul mind and your neighbor as yourself. So they manipulate the gospel so that they consider themselves accepted while ignoring the very God who searches the hearts and minds. All are freely forgiven who come to the Lord and grace unto salvation is true. But salvation is a beginning and every tree that bares good fruit will be accepted and those who bare bad fruit will be burned. Salvation is not a contract you sign by agreeing to certain doctrinal ideas. it is a living relationship with Jesus as Lord and savior of your life. How far people have drifted from seeking God and His kingdom and rightousness and become friends of this world. Remember these very problems are a sign of the last days and as individuals we will stand before od. If all my neighbors are hypocrites that will not excuse me. I need to present myself to God daily and walk with him in the counsel of his word and live a holy life as a result of the grace I have received. When we stand before God all will be open and naked and no one will have fooled God who alone will decide who believed upon him or not.
