I have a lab ignment to do and I would like to work with someone thats knowledgable about meiosis?
Meiosis is simply the process of cell division in gametic cells, which are cells used for reproduction. In has two stages, Meiosis I and Meiosis II. Meiosis I is similar to mitosis: consisting of the phases Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase and Telophase. The daughter cells of this division are diploid cells, which are similar in chromosome number as thyat of the parent cell. For Meiosis II, the 4 phases also occur, except that the daughter cells are haploid cells, or half the original chromosome number.
